Under rule 26 of the Supreme Court Rules 1982, there is no provision for the Supreme Court to extend the time to seek special leave to appeal beyond one month after the Court of Appeal’s refusal to grant leave, in contrast to criminal law cases. Reported by Caroline AB Sesay.
