Osman Thomas Sons and Bros Ltd v Bastone and Firminger (Export) Ltd

During the hearing of this appeal, it was discovered that the defendant had never filed a defence and the original action had never been entered for trial. The Supreme Court held that this basic non-compliance with the High Court Rules of procedure invalidated the original trial and all subsequent proceedings. Reported by Patrick Fofanah.
